Finally Spring!

So after a grueling winter of 70 degrees one day and
28 degrees the next, I finally made it to spring!
This is my favorite time of year, warm but not yet suffocating. :P
Hardly anything I wore this winter was worth posting.

A little glimpse at what I wore all winter...scary right?
Winter is definitely not my best dressed season!

I've been sewing alot this winter and thought y'all might like to see some of the stuff I've made.

This is a skirt used to be pants,
but the pants didn't fit me cuz they were too big.
Sadly I learned that turning them into
a skirt made it bigger. :(

I add a ruffle for freer movement.

This is a picture of my pants
 before I chopped them up.
 (back when they fit me)

So now you know what I did this winter! Hey, how did you dress this past winter?
Send me a picture and I just might post it:

A Taste of Asian Fashion

This is a special post for my sister who is spending 8 months in Asia. She sent me some pictures of the outfits she is wearing while there. They are very modest and cute. These outfits consist of a long dress-like shirt, and pants similar to skinny jeans. You might notices in the picture that the shirt is slit up to waist, this is to allow freer movement. This outfit was specially tailor for Carleigh.

As you might imagine I greatly
appreciate that the outfits come in very
bright colors and fun patterns.

To me the biggest fashion no-no is pink and red together. My sister was, of course, all to excited to send me a picture of this shirt. There is a pink pattern running all over this red shirt!

But in truth it doesn't  half
bad from far away.;D

Tie Day!

Thought I would share a picture of me and a couple of my friends from drama.
We all happened to wear a tie, and though each of our outfits are so
different it seemed to work for all four of us.

My friend Kayleigh gave me a good idea for another challenge.
We would have a theme every day like a Tie Day, or Boots Day.
It sounds fun to me!

An End to the Challenge

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't post anything for the final day of our challenge. I actually haven't stopped dressing different every day. It's addicting! Here is one of those outfits. I got the idea for this one from a friend. As soon as I saw his outfit I wanted to copy it. Black and red together make a very eye catching combo. Even though this outfit look simple it works!

My friend Tabitha sent me a picture of her an outfit of her's. She is wearing a cute pink dress, black shrug, and some pretty sweet boots. I think this outfit was very well put together. ->
This little darling is my sister Cassie. She has a great sense of fashion and is very stylish. In this picture she is wearing a cute yellow top, denim shorts, and flip-flops.

So we have finally come to the end of our challenge. I hope that the Sunshine Explosion Challenge has put some "solar in your flair" and helped you to realize that there really is something to wear in your closet. But don't worry this is not the end our my blog; I will continue to post fashion advice and stuff. If you have an idea for another challenge let me now. And now a big THANK YOU! to everyone who participated in the challenge.

Day 29:
Guys, this is our second to last day of the challenge!
Here is a sunshiny outfit I wore yesterday.

pink leggings underneath. That is my sister's colorful
plaid shirt on top. Again I'm wearing those sparkly, zebra striped flats. :)

What? Did you just say day 27?!

 Day 27:
Ok my peeps, I know its been awhile so here is
one my outfits. This is a rather wacky shirt it has
letters and zigzags all over it. The red pants
technically don't match since there is no red in the
shirt, but hey, you really can't tell.
Can you believe this challenge is almost over?
I said almost not yet so keep going!

Special Attention!
This my friend Cody. He is always dressing spiffy
so I asked if I could put him on my blog.
He is wearing a purple shirt and striped tie.
On the bottom he has black
pants and combat boots. I think the light brown
belt and gold buckle, contrast really nicely.

Extra Special Attention!
These are my fashion savvy parents.
I have finally managed to get them on my blog.
My parents encouraged me to do this blog,
to show others that it is possible to be modest,
fashionable and have fun all at the same time.

he is old, he will not depart from it.

Wait, what? Day 18?!

 Day 18:
I didn't actually wear this today, I wore a couple days ago.
(I keep forgetting to take a picture of my outfits)
I'm wearing fun top that's hard to explain unless
you see it, but I will try. It is striped, and has open shoulders,
with an elastic waist. A shell necklace, hemp anklet, and flip-flops
give the outfit a summery look.

Special Attention!
Here be my lovely friend Katie. She is
going for the fall look here. She is wearing
a brown shirt and a skirt with lots of fall colors in it.
She is also wearing a denim jacket.
Those invisible shoes seem to be catching!
